Thomas and Hannah had five daughters and one son:
Eleanor Hannah Davies born about 1874
David James Davies (about 1876) - my grandfather
Elizabeth Ann Davies (about 1878)
Mary Esther Davies (about 1882)
Sarah Margaretta Davies (about 1887)
Catherine Jane Davies (about 1893)

By 1891 the family had found a new home at Rhydyfuddai, Llanarth, where David served as a tailor’s apprentice to his father. The house at Rhydyfuddai was to remain the family home for the next hundred years.

My great-grandfather Thomas died on February 8th. 1914. His wife Hannah outlasted him by more than thirty years, and died on March 14th. 1945.
